Rust-Anode Query - I'll be painting my narrowboat shortly - I'll be taking it pretty much back to metal with a rotary blaster, as it's pretty badly rusted. I'd like to know if Rust Anode is compatible with ordinary narrowboat paints - and if I should use an ordinary primer on top of it, too?

Rust-Anode is the ideal coating for your narrowboat but not for use with either cellulose or bituminous top-coat paints. You can use any other top-coat though.
